Otie

UKC CH Intervale Coyote RE BN OAP OJP CGC (Otie)  was an old style, typey Chinook, the only offspring and a male from the 2005 breeding between Intervale Crystal Cascade and Saghalie’s Kaniksu Rainfall (Rainy). This breeding is Rainy’s only breeding to a purebred Chinook.  Otie bore a strong resemblance to his Winterset and Victor’s ancestors, to his great grand-dam Mountain Laurel Kascha, and further back, to Perry Greene’s dog Riki. Otie was OFA Fair and his parents OFA Good.  Otie had a broad skull, a short, wide muzzle, well developed cheek muscles, a stocky muscular body and weighed 75 lbs. at 25 inches tall.

Kody

Intervale Ursa Major (Kody) was a male from the 2003 litter of Intervale Impface (Ursa) and Howlin’ Hills Diamond n’th Ruff (Dozer). Kody looked a lot like his maternal great-grand sire, Ford’s Mackenzie. Kody was friendly, intelligent, high drive and athletic with a diverse pedigree.  Kody was about 70 lbs. and 25 inches tall. He had OFA Good and CERF normal passing scores, along with passing scores for all of Kody’s littermates: Six OFA Goods and 2 Fairs.  Kody’s brother Tug sired two OFA Excellents! Gus

Intervale Tuckerman (Gus) was out of Mountain Laurel Kaltaga (Kali) by Benjamin’s Tekoa (Toes) from their litter in 1998. This was Intervale’s first Chinook litter.  Gus is brother to Ursa and Crystal who were bred, and he is the only male sibling in his litter of 8 pups. Gus comes from an old pedigree and is a rarity for breeding diversity in today's Chinooks.  Gus was a male version of his dam Kali, sweet and smart with a black mask and great tawny-red coat. Gus had an OFA Good, CERF normal rating and was tested at Wisdom Panel. He has frozen semen stored at Zoetis. More photos!

Mason

Intervale Etched in Stone (Mason) is from Otie and Intervale Little Jazz. Mason has frozen semen stored in NH.  Mason was born 7/10/2017, has OFA Good Hips, Normal elbows and eyes, and he tested negative for MDR1.  Mason has been tested at Embark. More Photos!

Koda

Intervale Brother Bear (Koda) is Mason’s brother. Koda has OFA Good hips, Normal elbows and eyes, and he is negative for MDR1, with results from Embark available. Koda is a big strong male, and a friendly family dog.  Koda sired a litter of 7 purebred Chinooks in 2023. He is located in Connecticut and is available for a natural breeding. More photos!

Booker

Lighthouse Point Sur (Booker) has semen stored at Zoetis. Booker was a big Chinook male with an impressive head, a sweet temperament, and a plush red-tawny coat. Booker sired a litter of 5 in 2006 with Boreayl's Summer Sunshine and in 2010, Booker sired a litter of 8 purebred Chinooks with Intervale Brown Eyed Girl (Emma) under the Riverstone prefix.
